The story centers on the Green Lanterns of Earth (Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner) and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps as they fight an interstellar war against the Sinestro Corps, an army led by the former Green Lantern Sinestro who are armed with yellow power rings and seek an universe ruled through fear. Four terrestrials (air pilot Hal Jordan, ex cop Guy Gardner, architect John Stewart and cartoonist Kyle Rayner) are recruited for an interstellar and intergalactic agency called Green Lantern Corps, that it protects life in all universe known with the power of will. But their job complicates after Sinestro, a former Green Lantern who creates his own Sinestro Corps to conquer the universe with the power of fear.
